We would like to share the launch of the Smoothwall Online Safety Hub, a new resource to help parents, carers, and school staff across the Cavendish Education community stay informed and confident about online safety.

About the Online Safety Hub

The Online Safety Hub is a central platform written and curated by digital safety experts. It provides practical, up-to-date guidance for parents and teachers to help children navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

For Parents:

  • Learn how to support your child’s digital wellbeing.

  • Access advice on managing screen time, online behaviour, and social media use.

  • Explore app safety assessments and expert-led articles on topics such as cyberbullying, gaming, and privacy.

For Schools and Staff:

  • Use expert-authored materials to guide discussions with students.

  • Access resources and training materials to enhance digital safeguarding practices.

Smoothwall have also created a Parental and Staff Engagement Plan, which includes templates and links for sharing online safety tips throughout the school year. Updated plans for the next academic year will be released over the summer.
