As each young person joins us, our Head SENCo assesses their therapeutic needs and makes recommendations as to whether therapy should be delivered on a 1:1 basis or in small group sessions.
Therapies on offer at Quorn Hall School include:
Dance Movement Psychotherapy
Drawing and talking therapy
Quorn Hall School has a social worker onsite who works with students and parents/carers to support the relationship and transition between school and home, and has access to Clinical Psychologists who work closely with academic and pastoral staff. We are also adding Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy to the team here at Quorn Hall School.
The therapists help students to understand that they do not need to fit a mold; academic and therapeutic staff work together to find a way to get the best results for them.
